Cusco – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu
The tour begins early in the morning when our team picks you up from your hotel in Cusco and takes you to the Ollantaytambo train station. This journey lasts approximately 2 hours, and then we take the train to the picturesque town of Aguas Calientes, a trip of about 2 more hours. Upon arrival, our guide will greet you and transfer you by bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu, a 30-minute uphill ride.
Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, the entry control will take place, and the guided tour will start, lasting approximately 2 hours. During this tour, you will visit the most impressive viewpoints, where you can take photos with postcard views of the citadel and the surrounding mountains. After the visit, you will return to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious lunch in the town.
In the afternoon, depending on your train schedule, we will take the return trip to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, a private transport will take you back to Cusco, where we will drop you off at your hotel.
